I like heroes who take up impossible dreams and refuse to give up their goals. Even evil ones.
The story here is breath taking, the start is a bit slow but wait and see.
Two guys, at school. One is a repeater with great popularity among students and teachers, a charmer. The other is strange and speaks rarely, avoiding people. For some reason, the popular guy is drawn to the quiet guy. Not a Boys Love story.
The charmer is a psychopath who wants to burn the world but he has no weapon to do it. The loner has a power he calls Oneness - the awareness of all matter that exist being the same, animate or inanimate.
I'm not describing it with justice, it's a frightening power, if everything is one and you know it and can wield that knowledge efficiently, you can teleport and you can move matter back and forth and you can dissolve yourself into matter. O.k, Spoiler territory.
